Second Annual Ray Bradbury Storytelling Festival – Literary Monsters
This year’s festival success was based on how the performers were able to bring classic literature to life. How many people in the audience had read, or seen, the stories of Dracula and Frankenstein as they were originally written. How many remembered the poem The Raven, or knew about the importance of Fahrenheit 451. It is part of our mission at the Waukegan Public Library to bring literature to life, to entertain as well as educate, and for one day in Waukegan we made literature lovers out of our audience.
A third annual Bradbury Storytelling Festival will be held, please check this site often for dates, times and performers.
We thank you for your support.
